A couple weeks ago I went in for my first ever cycling class. Since then I’ve gone again. I feel like it isn’t just a place where you sit on a bike and petal. It’s a whole experience and because of that I thought I’d share it with you and how it became my new favourite form of self-care.
I wish I could come on here and share that my first Coachella experience went perfectly and that there was nothing I’d do differently. Unfortunately, there were incidents that happened which make me wish I could do it over. Before Coachella I did some research on what to bring, what to avoid and basically any tips I could take with me. Even with all that, I still wasn’t prepared. So I’ve decided to share my experience and maybe some of you can take a tip or two from this for your first Coachella. Also, the few pictures I have on here, I took with my husband’s phone. You’ll see why.
I’m heading to Coachella and I’m going to need to bring my most favourite products. I got a new haircare product about a month ago and I’ve been using it non stop. It’s called the ‘Style Navigator Prep & Finishing Spray’ by Navy Haircare. It’s quickly becoming my go to hair care product. I decided to write a little review on this product since I started packing for Coachella and thought, “I can’t not bring this spray with me this weekend”.
Navy Haircare has just launched their first product called the ‘Style Navigator Prep & Finishing Spray’. It’s a multi purpose prep and finishing spray. It offers protection from heat styling with a weightless finish. The spray gives a natural shine while protecting from harsh uv rays. Navy’s Style Navigator helps to create waves of your own with gorgeous hair. One of the reasons I love using this product is because of its smell. It smells like cotton candy! I admit I overuse it a bit because I want to make sure the smell still lingers. Besides all of the great benefits it gives my hair, it leaves my hair always smelling its best.
Style Navigator benefits: (found on the website)
* Free of sulfates, parabens, mineral oils, phthalates and petrolatum.
* Micro mist spray that combats static and controls frizz.
* Versatile use on wet or dry hair, for all hair types.
* Dry conditioning agents detangle and revive hair.
* Illuminates hair with a weightless finish that leaves zero build-up.
* Prolongs your blowout’s life.
* UV and thermal protection.
* Eco-Friendly packaging.
* Revitalizes hair for smooth, silky softness and natural bounce.
* Expands styling versatility, from easy everyday looks to editorial precision.
* Bright seacoast bouquet evokes the energizing caress of sun and surf.
Navy’s spray always leaves my hair well conditioned and beautifully styled. I absolutely recommend this Navigator Style spray to anyone who loves having healthy, shiny hair and who love sprays with multi purpose use.

We’re all guilty of going on a trip and seeing it as a reason to slack off on the workouts and over indulging in everything we see because we’re on vacation. And that doesn’t always have to be a bad thing. I mean, if you’re in Italy for the first time, then you absolutely need to eat all of the pizza, pasta and gelato you can get your hands on. These tips are more for the people who need to stay on track to get to their goal or they’re about to go on a trip and just need to be reminded of all the things that will help them maintain a semblance of their routine.

How I’m adding my new Jord Watch to my spring wardrobe
Spring is almost here!! With the weather slowly warming up and with spring just around the corner, I’ve been thinking about some new unique pieces I can’t wait to wear this upcoming season! One of those pieces is my new Jord Wooden Watch. Wooden watches are so unique and such a stand out piece which is why I think it’s this spring’s must-have accessory. Jord Watches make both men’s and women’s watches and are all handcrafted with all-natural wood. I just know I’m going to be wearing my Jord Cassia Timepiece so much this spring and summer!
I had the incredible experience of working as a Flight Attendant for a brief year and a half. I left the job because I moved down to California from Vancouver and there was no base where I moved to. It was a hard thing to do because even after all of the sleepless nights and sleepless flights, it was one of the best things I’ve ever done.
Lately I’ve been thinking back on flights I had worked on and looking at pictures from layovers. I’ve been thinking a lot about my whole time as an FA (flight attendant) and I decided to write a post on some of the things I’ve learned. Before getting the job, I had an idea about what the job would entail. But from my actual experience, I learned quite a bit from working up in the sky. Here are 7 things I learned while working as a flight attendant:
If you’re like me, going out for Valentine’s Day can seem like a lot of pressure. From getting ready, to going to the right restaurant and hoping their food and service don’t suffer from the hyped up holiday.
Or, you can just cozy up at home, make an awesome dinner, indulge in some strawberries dipped in chocolate and watch a movie on the couch. Because this to me sounds like the ideal situation for Valentine’s Day, I’m hoping it’s exactly what my Husband and I end up doing.
No matter who you spend Valentine’s Day with, make the most of it and just unwind with a glass of wine or a cocktail! Whether it’s your significant other, friend/s, or relative, coming up with a cocktail for Valentine’s Day can be a fun way to get the evening going!
