Since I’ve moved down to California, I’m getting used to the fact that a winter down here means you can still wear slides in January. On days that I need to leave the house quickly and don’t have much time to put an outfit together, this jacket and these slides have been my go to.
Of course if it’s way too cold where you live for slides, pairing this outfit with booties or sneakers works really well too. A big blanket scarf, a toque or beanie whatever you call it, and you’re set.
The jacket I’m wearing in these pictures is from Topshop. It’s called the Moto Oversized Borg Jacket. It’s been such a cozy jacket to have this fall and winter. Believe it or not where we are in the bay area, it can get chilly at times especially after the sun goes down. Having a warm jacket like this one is a life saver. I know that I’ll continue to get a lot of use from it.
These slides were a recent purchase from Target. I had wanted a pair for fall but since it was almost winter, I thought I had missed my chance. I was at Target to find a couple things we needed when I saw these slides on one of the racks. They’re called the Women’s Kona Backless Mule Loafers. Honestly even though it’s winter, my feet are never cold. Plus the weather here isn’t the coldest so I’ve been wearing them non stop. They go with everything and it’s so easy to put an outfit together. They are so comfortable I will definitely continue to wear them year round.
These shades are called the Superstar Geometric Aviator Sunglasses and they’re from Urban Outfitters. They had the classic aviator shades which I almost got but I really liked the look of these ones. They’re different than any other pair I own.
