Since I love reading about other people’s monthly favourites, I thought I’d give it a go and share what I’ve been loving in January! These things have either been on repeat everyday or they’ve just been a big part of my month.
Below I mention Beauty Products, Perfume, Accessories, Music and a TV Series. Enjoy!
- Pure Nude Highlighter – Essence
- Bi Facil – Lancome
- Peony & Blush Suede – Jo Malone
- Minuit Mesh Watch – Cluse
- Dejate Llevar – Juan Magan, Belinda, Manuel Turizo, Snova, B-Case
- Game of Thrones – TV Series
- Don’t Stress Do Your Best Planner – Stradivarius
During the winter months, my skin needs a little boost to look fresh. So using a highlighter in my makeup routine is essential! Whenever I’m wearing makeup this month, I’ve included this highlighter into the routine. I love how it doesn’t leave chunks of glitter like other highlighters out there. When you put this on the high points of your cheeks it leaves the most beautiful sheen. It’s also so affordable! Drugstore makeup really excites me when the products are as amazing as this highlighter!
I’ve absolutely been loving this eye makeup remover. Whenever I go for a bold eye look, I’ve been using this to take it all off. And I don’t need to tug at my eye because it does the job with just one swipe. I also love it because it doesn’t burn my eyes like others do.
This has been my go to perfume literally every single day. I’m usually the girl that switches up her perfumes and has a different scent because I get bored easily. But this one I got for Christmas has been so nice to wear everyday. I never get tired of it and I’m just obsessed with the scent. On the Jo Malone site, it explains this scent as “Peonies in voluptuous bloom, exquisitely fragile. Flirtatious with the juicy bite of red apple and the opulence of jasmine, rose and gillyflower. Mingling with the sensuality of soft, blush suede. Luxurious and seductive”. If that means nothing to you and you actually need to smell it, go to your local Jo Malone and give some of their scents a sniff! This one was a winner for me.
I had seen this watch around for a while and was really intrigued by the rose gold one. When I went online I saw that Negin Mirsalehi, a fashion influencer, had collaborated with Cluse to create a beautiful watch with two different straps. You get the rose gold watch which you can buy on its own. It also came with a nice blush pink velvet strap which really changes up the look. I love changing up the straps but always having the rose gold face because I do have a lot of rose gold jewellery. Unfortunately this package was limited edition and is sold out. But you can still buy the classic rose gold watch in Minuit Mesh. I’ve been wearing this watch non stop. I love that it goes with so much that I already own.
Dejate Llevar – Juan Magan, Belinda, Manuel Turizo, Snova, B-Case
I discovered this song mid month but I still wanted to include it in my monthly favourites because it’s been on repeat! I love it! It’s so good to dance to and of course shamelessly sing to in your car.
I know, I know. I was a little late to the party. Binge watching was seriously a thing in my household this month. My husband and I had been watching GOT pretty much all of January until we finished it. I’m beyond obsessed and can’t believe I didn’t watch it before when everyone else was. Better late than never right? But now the struggle of not being able to watch it until 2019 is real. What are we supposed to do now..
I got this beautiful planner for Christmas and have been loving using it to organize events and future trips. Of course I start off super organized in the beginning of the year so we’ll see if I’m still using it as religiously as I am now in the coming months. I love how simple it is on the outside and how detailed it is on the inside! Definitely easy to plan everything out in this planner.
These were my favourite things this month of January! Do any of you like any of these favourites? What were your favourites this past month? Let me know down below!
I hope you all enjoyed your first month of 2018 and that it only gets better from here!
