People are always asking me what they need to see in Portugal when they visit for a couple of days. There is way too much to see in a short amount of time, so I always find it hard to answer that question. But if you’re staying in Lisbon for 4 or 5 days, there are some day trips you can take that are worth the visit. Sintra is one of them!
Since I was pressed for time, I could only stop by one of the many beautiful spots in Sintra. Because of how magical the palace looked, I decided to see Pena Palace and I’m so glad I did!

So you’ve seen everyone’s amazing shots of the Grand Canyon and now you want to plan a trip so that you can finally witness how unbelievable it is for yourself. You’ve come to the right place! I wish I could come on here and share that my first Coachella experience went perfectly and that there was nothing I’d do differently. Unfortunately, there were incidents that happened which make me wish I could do it over. Before Coachella I did some research on what to bring, what to avoid and basically any tips I could take with me. Even with all that, I still wasn’t prepared. So I’ve decided to share my experience and maybe some of you can take a tip or two from this for your first Coachella. Also, the few pictures I have on here, I took with my husband’s phone. We’re all guilty of going on a trip and seeing it as a reason to slack off on the workouts and over indulging in everything we see because we’re on vacation. I had the incredible experience of working as a Flight Attendant for a brief year and a half. I left the job because I moved down to California from Vancouver and there was no base where I moved to. It was a hard thing to do because even after all of the sleepless nights and sleepless flights, it was one of the best things I’ve ever done.
Lately I’ve been thinking back on flights I had worked on and looking at pictures from layovers. I’ve been thinking a lot about my whole time as an FA (flight attendant) and I decided to write a post on some of the things I’ve learned. Before getting the job, I had an idea about what the job would entail. But from my actual experience, I learned quite a bit from working up in the sky.
